Additional Works & Site Rates

Standard estimates cover the specific works listed in your paperwork. The following rates apply only to unexpected additional site support or preparation works that were not agreed or included in the original estimate.


1. ROOM CLEARANCE FEE

£60.00 per room

The Standard: Our estimates require the workspace to be clear of furniture and personal items to allow safe access. The Charge: This fee applies if Abode Plastering staff are required to undertake unexpected clearance work or physically move heavy furniture to commence work upon arrival.


2. MATERIAL HANDLING & PORTERAGE

£50.00 per hour (Minimum 1 hour charge)

Abode-Supplied Materials: Handling is INCLUDED. Client-Supplied Materials: Your estimate covers skilled plastering labour. The Charge: This fee applies if Abode staff are required to move CLIENT-SUPPLIED bulky materials (e.g., Plasterboards) that were not positioned correctly prior to arrival, unless manual handling was explicitly included in the estimate.


3. ADDITIONAL REPAIRS & PATCHING

Note: Applies to repairs found on the day that were not visible or disclosed at the time of estimating.


4. DE-NAILING & WALL PREPARATION

£50.00 per hour

The Standard: To achieve a high-quality professional finish, surfaces must be completely clean. The Charge: This fee applies to the removal of unexpected fixings, nails, or wallpaper residue that were not accounted for in the original estimate.


AUTHORISATION OF EXTRAS

To ensure your final invoice is accurate, we require a quick text or email confirmation for any additional works before they commence. This serves as your formal instruction for us to proceed.
